Club Rules  Club Rules.

Rule 1.Name

The name of the club shall be the ''Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club'', (hereinafter called “the Club”) The Club objectives being to promote this native U.K breed, provide education for the membership on the breed, breeding, the breed standard, judging, health,   and to advancing interest and knowledge of the breed worldwide.

Rule 2. Membership.

2A. The Club membership year shall be from January 1st = December 31st, open to all and application along with payment shall be via the Club official membership form, rules and code of ethics This must be signed by the applicant. acknowledging they have read and will comply with the Club rules and code of ethics. 

2B. New members shall be accepted provisionally and without voting rights until their election to the Club shall be confirmed by a majority vote of the Committee. The Club shall not give any reason for the committee decision to not grant membership

2C. The Secretary shall inform all applicants of the committee decision and in the event of the election not being confirmed the subscription shall be returned in full. 

2D. Members must notify the Secretary of any change of name or contact details

2E. Any member may resign his/her membership by giving notice in writing to the Hon. Sec. and upon receipt will come into effect immediately, and upon ceasing to be a member forfeits all rights to and claims upon the club its members, property and funds.

2F. The membership book will be held by the Secretary and be available. A. for inspection. at all events and meetings of the Club for inspection if so requested by the members of the Club. 

2G. Members resident outside the U.K with the exception of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man will have voting rights and will receive all club publications by e-mail.

2 H No member shall use the Title of the Club for advertisement

Rule 3 Mangement Committee. 

 

The inaugural meeting shall elect a management committee of ten who from their number elect a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer to steer the Club to its first A. G. M.
